The Hungarian Teacher Training Centre is a public institution and a juridical person, subordinated to the Ministry of Education and Research. It is an entity connected to the Ministry of Education and Research, functioning on a national level in order to support the Hungarian teaching staff, established in Art.99 of the National Education Law no.1\/2011 and Government Regulation no. 922\/15.11.2018.<\/p>\n
The main goal of the Centre is to organise trainings and further scientific, methodical and cultural training activities for the teaching staff working both in state schools and private or denominational institutions where the teaching language is Hungarian, \u2013 under conditions provided by the law \u2013 according to Art. 45. (11) from the National Education Law no. 1\/2011.<\/p>\n
The mission of the Centre is to assure vocational training for the Hungarian teaching crew in their native language. By the means of vocational training we look forward to improve the linguistic and methodical skills needed for the teaching of the Hungarian language and for other subjects which are taught in Hungarian, making use of modern and efficient methods and procedures.<\/p>\n
The Hungarian Teacher Training Centre promotes innovation and reform in education, providing opportunities for the personal and professional development of the teaching staff, in accordance with the professional standards of teaching, of quality and professional competences. The roots of these standards go back to the best traditions of Hungarian education, promoting its cultural objectives and the principle of lifelong learning and training.<\/p>\n
